Sessions
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly. You can choose to attend online, on the telephone, or in-person in Greater Manchester.
Fees
The standard session fee is £60 per 50-minute session.
I offer concessions on a sliding scale for people on low income, please ask when booking. Out of hour sessions are available at £68 in the evening and £78 at weekend.
Payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer before your appointment or in cash on the day. Full details are shared when you book.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
If you need to cancel, please give at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session may be charged.
I offer a free initial call so you can ask questions and decide whether therapy with me feels right. There’s no obligation to continue after this call.

The first session is an opportunity to meet and start talking about what has brought you to therapy. We can explore what feels important to you, and there’s no expectation to share more than you’re comfortable with.
No. Some people come with clear goals. Others begin with a general sense that something isn’t quite right. Both experiences are welcome.
There’s no fixed number. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others choose longer-term therapy. We can review this together as therapy progresses.
Yes, you can book online, telephone and in person sessions depending on what your are most comfortable with.
Availability varies, but I aim to offer sessions as soon as possible following an initial call.
Yes, Sense of Self Therapy is a LGBTQIA+ friendly practice. We provide a safe and welcoming environment for individuals of all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Yes. Therapy is confidential and follows professional ethical guidelines. There are a few rare legal or safety exceptions, which I will explain if relevant.
