Complaints Procedure

At Sense of Self Therapy, your wellbeing is my priority. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and professional service at all times. However, if you are ever unhappy with any aspect of the service, it’s important that you know how to raise your concerns.

 How to Raise a Complaint


  1. Contact Me Directly
    Most concerns can be resolved quickly by speaking or emailing me. Please explain clearly what the issue is and what outcome you are seeking.

  2. Written Complaint
    If preferred, you can submit your complaint in writing, detailing:
     
    • Your name and contact information
       
    • The nature of the complaint
       
    • Any relevant dates or sessions
       
    • How you would like the issue to be resolved
       

I will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to respond in full within 20 working days.

If the complaint cannot be resolved directly with me, you have the right to contact my professional body:

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

All complaints are treated with strict confidentiality, in line with professional and ethical guidelines. Your personal information will only be shared with relevant parties to resolve the complaint.


I take all concerns seriously and aim to resolve them promptly and fairly. Your feedback helps ensure that therapy remains a safe, respectful, and professional space.
